21 | Watching, Listening or Reading?
Hey guys,
This week I've been procrastinating one video I wanted to make for a while but glad I've now filmed it and currently in the editing process.
As a teaser, I tell you the video π¬ will be about Life in London π¬π§ vs Buenos Aires π¦π·. I haven't mentioned it yet on social media as I wanted you to be first. It's coming on Thursday or Friday and it will be released in 2 parts in different weeks.
The idea of the first part is to highlight differences in terms of weather βοΈ, groceries & food π₯«, healthcare systems π§πΌββοΈ (is the UK one truly the best in the world? let's seeβ¦) and time management β±οΈ in both cities.
In the second part I'll be tackling nightlife πΊ, safety π,, relationships π§βπ€βπ§ and money & career. π€
On the other hand, I've listened to a great podcast from Tim Ferris where he interviewed Michael Phelps and Grant Hackett π β 2 Legends on competing and overcoming adversity. They talked about their experience during the World Championships and Summer Olympics. Golden lessons! π
Moreover, I'm still reading The Path as it's taking me a little bit longer to digest some research and concepts. The first 7 chapters are about basic investment principles and foundations but very US driven. The interesting stuff starts from chapter 8. I'll finish it in the next few days and will report back.
Finally, it's interesting that we spend a considerable amount of time (and money!) watching films/TV, listening to music/podcasts, reading books/magazines and still there's limited research around understanding our differences in preferences for such entertainment. Social Media algorithms definitely became smarter to the point that they know better than us what we want sometimes (of course we're being tracked too π ). But what I mean is that there's still a lot to say about our personalities when it comes to choosing the way we consume data/information.
Have a great week and enjoy the content below!
