02 | Are you happy working from home?
Hey guys,
I spent the week in London, working from home. I work in the Financial Technology industry, or simply Fintech. This is fun but also demanding as clients need to understand how to use the platform to be able to efficiently manage portfolios.
Working from home has introduced challenges in different industries. I’m lucky enough I’m able to work from home and I feel comfortable although sometimes I miss that face-to-face relationship with colleagues.

Today, I share 3 thoughts about Financial Freedom, Work Smarter (Not Harder!) and Lifestyle Design.

💸 Financial Freedom
Some time ago, I read a book called Rich Dad Poor Dad from Robert Kiyosaki. I noticed it was biased towards Real Estate but some of the concepts are key to understand how money works. We learn lots of things at school but they don’t really teach us anything about money. This book is a good starting point to understand the money workflow. I share my Kindle notes & highlights here so you get a flavour of the ideas of this book and hopefully this can add some value in your near future.
🛠️ Work Smarter (Not Harder!)
I went paperless many years ago, so my tablet and laptop are crucial for me to perform. I generally take notes in 2 apps: OneNote (for work) and Notability (for personal). Both are synced in all my devices so when I take the train, tube or a flight, I can prepare meetings, presentations and structure my ideas of any kind. This has saved me a lot of time for years. The 2 key benefits are: sharing with colleagues/clients very fast and converting dead time into productive time which ultimately will give you more time to do whatever you want in your private life.
🧳 Lifestyle Design
If you actively follow my Instagram or Blog, you might have noticed that some of my photos improved a bit. I started to be more curious about photography and filmmaking, so I took some lessons, bought gear and went on trips to practice. I’ve realised that good quality photos and videos can help present your work in powerful ways.
