69 | Is This The New Normal?
Hey Friends,
Most of us are feeling some degree of anxiety about what's happening in the world. What we're experiencing right now is just insane: the climate change, the ongoing pandemic, the geopolitical turmoil and the war. 🤯
I feel helpless but I've rounded up a few ways to support Ukraine right now. 🇺🇦
Nova Ukraine | local nonprofit, provides Ukrainians with food, clothes and day-to-day needs. You can donate here.
CARE | global nonprofit, providing Ukrainians urgently with needed water, food, hygiene kits, and ongoing support. You can donate here.
People In Need | global humanitarian aid, they have an Ukraine SOS fund. You can donate here.
Red Cross | helping anyone who got into trouble in Ukraine – loneliness, sickness, poverty, unemployment, loss of family links, emergency or armed conflict. Donate here.
Voices Of Children | helps children affected by the war in eastern Ukraine. They provide psychological and psychosocial support to children. You can donate here.
Social Media | I posted an Instagram Reel (5,000 views) and TikTok video (12,700 views) to help spread the “stop the war” message.
I feel weird creating/sharing my normal content these days but I know we all want to “disconnect” from the world from time to time, so I'll keep making my usual videos to draw a smile on whoever my videos reach. Mental health is real. 🧠
I'm no one to give life advice but developing obsessive habits of consuming news and information can be dangerous. You know yourself better than anyone else, so do whatever works for you and stay safe. 🙏🏻
Finally, I have some travel plans too for March and April, so I'm really excited after a little break (of 3 weeks) to get back on the road again. 🗺️
Have a great week!
Alejandro

Travel, Hotel, and Credit Card Points Strategies for 2022 with Richard Kerr
By All The Hacks
You can listen to the full episode here.
Richard Kerr is a veteran naval officer and founder of the Award Travel 101 Facebook community. He’s one of the foremost experts in points and miles strategy, featured in Forbes, US News, Money Magazine and Kiplinger Personal Finance.
I particularly enjoyed that episode because people think that travel is insanely expensive and I always say the same: it can be as cheap and as expensive as you want. The problem is that we have this Hollywood idea of travelling like a celebrity and sometimes we can do it and sometimes we can't. There's a lot of perks if you know how to use credit cards and airlines/hotels programs. 🧳

In episode six of our first travel series The NORTH Call -The Hardest Language In The World, we visit different cities in Lithuania with the main objective of embracing the culture to eventually learn the language faster. Here's the video. If you enjoyed it, please give it a Like and/or Comment, so YouTube can recommend it to more people like you. 🤟
The following 2 videos are Shorts, more targeted for a mobile audience willing to consume just in 60 seconds (similar to Instagram Reels & TikTok). I'll be doing some experiments and might see more of these ones (in addition to the usual weekly “long” one, 7-10 mins length).
